Upcoming Jewelry Trade Shows

Jewelry trade shows are a great way to expand your business.  They provide alternate outlets besides a retail store to reach customers.  Since there are jewelry trade shows all over the world anyone is a potential customer.

Besides meeting new customers, jewelry trade shows also provide a great medium in which to do business with other traders.  At any one exhibition there may be hundreds of traders willing and able to do business.  In fact, a good percentage of business done at trade shows is done between traders.

Here at Raymond Lee Jewelers we are always looking to expand our reach to the world.  Going to trade shows is one of our biggest businesses.

We will be participating in the following upcoming shows:

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show Review

Las Vegas CityCenter - Capital of the New World

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show took place June 3rd-6th 2010. Our company has been an exhibitor at this show for the past 6 years. Between May 26th and June 7th we visited or exhibited at four trade shows. They included World Wide Traders, International Watch and Jewelry Guild, Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show (I.W.J.G. ) and JCK. Our overall opinion after visiting all shows is that business is moving in the right direction. The Antique Show that D.M.G. Media puts on is one of our favorite shows of the year. The buying is always good and the selling is always good. As usual, there were plenty of cash buyers in the room. More Indian and Asian buyers than anything. Next to no European buyers and virtually no Europeans buying watches. The big sellers at the show were large loose diamonds and nice signed jewelry. Jewelry from makers such as Tiffany, Cartier and Van Cleef are among the hottest this year. Large off color clean diamonds are still the easiest diamonds to move. All prices have firmed up. Overall business has picked up. There were a few minor complaints at the show, they included: AT&T products did not work inside the hall, all other cell phones did somehow. As soon as the show was over at 4, the at&t phones started working. The ac was broken for a few hours the last morning and was 100 degrees plus. We will see how this continues at the Hong Kong Show this month where we are exhibitors and IWJG in Chicago.

World Wide Traders Show Las Vegas Review

Sahara Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas, NV USA

Our Company just returned from a Las Vegas jewelry show trip that started on the 26th of May and ended on the 7th of June. During this time we exhibited or visited all of the major Las Vegas summer jewelry and watch shows. The Las Vegas World Wide Traders Show or Las Vegas wwt show was good, to say the least. There seems to be a very high demand for quality pre-owned watches. Hands down, there were way more buyers than sellers at this show. Not even close to enough product to meet demand. This World Wide Traders show took place at the Sahara Hotel. Not the nicest hotel but this keeps costs down. We thought the room was great. We did here a lot of people complaining about the level of lighting in the room. Overall we liked it and there was good action. There was quite a bit of vintage products for sale that did not get looked at. Overall, modern luxury watches were the number one seller. This show was a great kick off to all the Vegas shows. The only thing we could possibly comment on is the fact that there were two days between the World Wide Traders Show and I.W.J.G. It would be better if they were right after one another.
